  • How Far In Advance Can I Book An Appointment?
As far in advance as you like, but in order to secure your ideal appointment day and time, please ensure to book your appointment 6-8 weeks in advance and in clusters. As we only currently provide services on Saturdays (Sundays and Evenings coming soon!), we advise booking at least two appointments (inc follow-up appointments) in advance to avoid disappointment. Dates can be changed, if necessary, as long as they are within the 48-hours cancellation notice period.
  • How Much Notice Do I Need To Give To Cancel An Appointment?
If you any reason you need to cancel an appointment, please ensure to provide us with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice prior the schedule appointment time, failing to do so will mean your booking fee will be non-refundable. For sessional treatments, you will not be able to rebook the cancelled session and will therefore lose a session.
  • I Am Running Late For My Appointment?
We advise all our clients to arrive 10 minutes early especially new clients. If you are for any reason running late, please contact us immediately so we can confirm whether or not we are still able to perform your treatment. Please note lateness will limit your treatment time, and could lead to your treatment not being full completed. If the treatment is not completed a rebooking will be arrange but at the convenient of the Salon schedule.
  • Therapist For My At Home Treatment Is Running Late?
If we know we are going to be late for an appointment, we will contact you immediately. If our therapist arrive later than 15 minutes after an appointment time, We will still provide the services you have booked but if we decide that we cannot, the appointment will be treated as cancelled without notice by us and, full refund of booking fee will be made.
  • Why Is There A Booking Fee And How Much Does It Cost?
We ask all our clients to pay a booking fee of 25% of their total appointment treatment value at the time of confirmation of the appointment. This is to ensure your appointment date and time is secured and that failure to show up to an appointment does not incur a loss of our therapist/aesthetician time. If you are booking for a sessional treatment, the full amount of the treatment plan must be paid in full before your first session.
  • How Is My Booking Fee Payment Processed?
Once we received your booking, we will pencil your appointment as a provisional if available. If the appointment is available you will receive a notice email to confirm we have sent you an invoice detailing the price of the booking fee, the date and time of appointment and how to pay the booking fee, which will be visa bank transfer or PayPal. Once the booking fee has been received we will then send you an official booking confirmation email.
  • Is My Booking Fee Refundable?

Treatment Contraindications

When considering a treatment, it’s essential to evaluate factors that could impact its suitability and the results you wish to achieve. These factors are known as contraindications. Contraindications are specific conditions or circumstances that may require avoiding or modifying a particular beauty or aesthetic treatment to prevent harm or undesirable outcomes. Understanding these contraindications allows you and your aesthetician to make safe, personalised decisions tailored to your needs.

Pregnancy

Why: During pregnancy, the effects of infrared light on the developing fetus are not fully understood.

Safety Concerns: While some studies indicate infrared light may be safe, there are no conclusive results, and it is generally recommended that pregnant clients avoid this therapy as a precaution.

Cancer or Tumours

Why: Infrared light stimulates cellular activity, which could potentially accelerate cancer cell growth.

Safety Concerns: Clients with a history of cancer or active tumours should avoid infrared therapy or consult their oncologist, as increased blood flow and cellular stimulation may have unintended effects on cancer cells.

Active Infections

(Bacterial, Viral, or Fungal)

Why: Increased circulation from infrared therapy may potentially spread infections faster.

Safety Concerns: Infrared light may exacerbate infections by stimulating blood flow to affected areas. It’s best to wait until the infection has cleared before undergoing therapy.
